The duo had a very successful day in South East Technological University for the Sci Fest 2022 competition – winning the Business institute award and the over – all Sci Fest best project award for their project. Both Bianca and Sheryl received an Excellence in STEM Award at the National SciFEST competition in Dublin on the 25th of November 2022. On behalf of the school and the science department we would like to wish them the very best of luck going forward with their studies– we are all so proud of you both and your keen interest in science and excellence in completing all tasks to a high standard.
Congratulations to Anjali and Kate for their fascinating project work on how drinks weaken our teeth and how toothpaste can prevent it. They carried out an exceptional CBA and quantitatively measured the forces involved. Their work lead to TWO SciFest awards. The pair won the Regeneron Life science award and the overall runner up for best project at SciFest in SETU. A huge achievement for the pair and the school.
